LESLIE & HAMPTON

I'm so glad to be back! This is my first official e-session of this year and it will also be my first wedding of 2008. So of course, I had to start it off with a BANG. 14 hours and 620 miles later, these are a few of the shots that I really love. We started of at Georgia Southern Campus where they met.

On the way out of town I saw this field of pecan trees and canola flowers. For real, Hampton said these beautiful little flowers produce canola oil. Whoda thunk it?
Savannah is such a favorite place of mine. I love the history and arcitecture. This is the historic River Street Inn, a 5 story inn on the riverfront, built in 1817.

We strolled down River Street and since they are such a handsome couple, they received a bit of attention.

Next we stopped at this beatiful, old, rusty building and I asked the guy in charge of construction if we could take a few engagement pictures and he looked at me like I was crazy and said "You want to take engagement pictures HERE"? I loved it. He laughed and said "Knock yourselves out". It is the oldest cotton mill in Savannah, currently being restored.

Then is was the place that made me drive all this way to begin with. TYBEE ISLAND. Ah, the beach. Leslie and Hampton are both Marine Biologists so it's their home too.

Thanks for a fabulous day, you two. I'll see you in a few weeks!

What a fun couple! That would be a fun day to me. :)

And yep, those are canola flowers. I just saw them on the bottle while I was making brownies.

I'm glad you got out to Utah safely and are enjoying your family! Love ya!
