We stumbled upon a pair of Canada Geese by the pond at Piedmont Park and were very happy to see their new goslings. I love these birds because they mate for life. Seriously. They defy "animal instinct" and stay together for LIFE. The female usually lays 4-8 eggs and 25-28 days later, this is what you get. How cute is that??

remember when i lived with you in grover and i told you how much i loved trees. i still do but birds, oh birds. birds will make me weep.
