I love my mom and sister!

They both live in Utah, and they have been here for the last 3 weeks totally blessing me and it has been so good. My sister was here for 2 weeks and she totally took charge. We are 20 months apart (she's older) and she has 2 kids of her own. One is 22 and the other is 20. I know, she looks great, doesn't she? Well, she has recently gone through an intense training and evaluation process to be a shelter parent for babies up to 6 months old. She will take care of babies that need a temporary place to stay. The average time is 28 days and I am so proud of her. It is a huge commitment that requires a heart full of love, and an attitude of total generosity. She has recently come to know Jesus and it has changed her life. I don't think I have ever seen her so happy or so unselfish. I really didn't want her to go home. I have lived away from my family for 20 years and this was the first time ( almost) that I wanted to go home with her. Oh...the bittersweet heartache of it all. I'm so glad that she will be going to London with me in December to take care of Zoe while I shoot a dear friends wedding. That means 6 more weeks and I get to see her again!
My mom and Jody in the back yard on what I think was the last wonderfully warm fall day of the year. I just took my mom to the airport today...( I miss you already mom.) We had such a wonderful time with her here. It was a much needed time to reconnect and have some great talks about life, God, being a mom and things that mean a lot. Thank you for everything, Mom.
My daughter Madison commented on how we all had different hair color, and so we nicknamed ourselves Zoe's Angels...you know, instead of Charlie's.
Ha-ha. Too funny.
My husband has been surrounded by girls for weeks. I'm happy to say that he has done very well. I'm so blessed!
