She is 11
Full of joy and wonder
I can see the struggle she has at times
trying to make sense of the world...of life.
"Don't be afraid," I whisper.
You are the apple of His eye
and all things are possible
Just believe

Sunflower

So you know those chocolate covered sunflower seeds? (if not, you are SO missing out!) Well, Zoe loves them and her little fingers just can't seem to grab them fast enough so she fixed the problem by going straight to the source, cutting out the middle man.

So then to get a better shot, I moved them onto the glass coffee table where I could put the camera underneath and we all laughed and laughed.

Daddy Daughter Day.

My husband is such a good father. I don't brag on him near enough. Today started out with Madison's soccer game, which Steve is very involved in. He takes her to practice twice a week, encourages her, practices with her and paces up and down the sidelines during the game yelling out (encouraging) direction. :)
It was a cloudy day which made it perfect for outdoor work. ( we tackled the garage! what relief!) Although he tends to get sidetracked, I can't complain too much when it's to spend time with his girls. Nothing makes a momma's heart melt more than to see them being lavished with daddy love.
Madison began to blow bubbles and everyone took advantage of the fun.

After a long day's work, we decided to do something fun. Steve is a kid at heart and he has recently learned to ride a ripstick. He's fun like that. So we loaded up the car to go and find smooth concrete and open space. It was a date that Madison was very excited about. We ended up at Pump it up parking lot, it was perfect. or so we thought.

It wasn't until they got busted by an attendant and we were trying to figure out what to do that someone said " it's not like there is a sign or anything" to which there seemed to be a magnetic pull of the eye balls towards the building opposite where this sign totally ruined our argument.

Since it was a huge lot with many businesses, we just stayed off of theirs. :)

Zoe sticks her tongue out to the left ALL THE TIME when she is concentrating or doing something and I thought "why does she do that?" Then I noticed that Steve does the very same thing when he is concentrating.

She is her daddy's girl. She even got a few rides.

This is taken while he whizzes by on the ripstick. what talent!
We came home and roasted a few marshmallows down at the pit. YUM.
I love you honey. Thank you for eveything you do. You rock.

THIS IS SERIOUS

Meet our lovely cat, Sugar. She is 5 years old and we brought her out from California. She adjusted well but she became a bit of a fraidy cat and decided that she doesn't like the outdoors. She is super loving at night and sleeps with Madison under her covers. We love her.

This is our living room, particularly our couch. It's for sitting on. Steve sometimes falls asleep here, we watch movies while snuggled up on it, it matches the room and the other pieces. We love this couch.

While we were in California last month, Sugar decided that she would use it as a litter box. We saw the spot and the scratches where she tried to cover it up, with what, I don't know. ( I did that once in my sleep when I was 4. it was the chair next to my mom's bed ) We immediately bought some stuff from Petsmart to get rid of the odor but because it is leather, it didn't work so well. What's worse is the SHE KEEPS ON DOING IT!!

Now I know what you're thinking...why is she still alive? It's a $1200 couch and we ask ourselves the same thing but unless you have a child that has a pet, you wouldn't understand. We are trying to solve the problem with alternative methods.

We are at the point where we have to get rid of the couch. Cat pee is totally gross and it's not coming out. ( anyone want a couch? ) The current delimma is this: Do we get a new couch and hope that she won't do it again? Do we give her another chance? Maybe she was just mad that we were gone.

She freaks out when we put her outside. There are foxs ( plural ) that live in the woods and she is dainty so I don't know how long she would last. She stands by the door and constantly meow's.

Anyone want a cat?

Has anyone had this problem before? I'm open to suggestions.

I love my daughter. She makes me laugh. If I were in 5th grade, I would want to be her friend.
My little Fuji was in the back seat for days and she has found it and decided to amuse herself while I am driving.

GOT SOMETHIN TO SAY?

I few people have told me that they try to post comments here but for some reason it doesn't work. I really love to get feedback and hear what you have to say so here is how you do it.

At the bottom of the post it will say "post a comment" or if there is already comment, it was say something like "2 comments". Click on that.

A new window will open with a box to type comments and underneath it there will be a word verification box. (It helps reduce spam and keeps obnoxious stuff from coming through.) Type in exactly what you see.

Choose an identity. If you have a blog or facebook account, you can use that. You can also choose to just put your name or "annonomous" by checking the appropriate circle.

Then click publish comment. It comes to me in my mailbox and and then I can publish it. ( I was getting like 10 stupid repeat comments so now I filter all comments. )

There you go. Now you better let me know you were here Mom, Leigh Ann, Tammy, and anyone else who gets to peek on on me but I never know it. I love you. Let me hear you.
