JonDavid + Stacey + Babies = 4

Stacey is married to my husbands brother Jondavid. They have tried for 18 years to have children. In the waiting it has seemed as if they were forgotten. But God has His timing. Stacey has loved and cared for her friends children, she has given tirelessly of herself and has thrown more than her share of baby showers and we are all beside ourselves as we await the arrival of their twins. A boy and a girl. She is 27 weeks in these photos. You are beautiful, Stacey. You are both going to make wonderful parents.

Linze, Steve and Baby makes 3.

My niece is due in 4 weeks and her Dad's wife Brittany has a super cool interior design store called Walls in SLC. I'm talkin REALLY COOL. So we did a little maternity shoot there since the store was closed on Sunday. Here are a few of my favorites.

I love love love this drape. I drool over flocked wallpaper and Walls had a TON of it. My sister Ashley blogged about the store a week or so ago and I didn't make the connection until I walked in the building today and had the feeling that i had been there before. She's a drooler too. I guess great minds slobber over similar things.

That's an orange barbell belly ring that Linze is sportin. She's a hip momma.

Steve is a very proud and anxious pappa. He can't wait to hold his little girl.
These are glow eggs. They made me think of ovaries.

This is the wallpaper that I covet. I don't even think it would even "go" anywhere in my house but I still love it.

I can't wait to meet her. Thanks Linze and Steve for getting cozy with me. I love you guys.

One of my favorite weddings from last year was that of Kelly and Anna in Maui. Not just because of the amazing location but because they are wonderful people and Kelly is the son of a great friend of mine. They now live here in California and Anna is due to have a baby boy in a few weeks. Here are a few shots of her.

You look beautiful, Anna!

The William's are expecting.

When I moved to Georgia a little over 2 years ago, I immediately signed up to do a Bridal Show at the Cobb Galleria. I was a bit nervous and feeling like a small fish in a big sea. During the show, I met a few photographers that did not appreciate the competition and I soon felt like the new kid on the block with no friends. Until I met Patrick Williams. He was so helpful and friendly, he even sent me some referrals that very day. He invited me to come and shoot a few weddings with him to help me adjust to my new surroundings and was a huge help with all of my new kid questions.

He and his beautiful wife Angel are expecting a baby boy at the beginning of June. I was happy to do a little shoot for them and maybe I'll be able to return the favor of sharing information when Patrick is introduced to being a new parent and keeping up a busy schedule. I'll be a good cheerleader...You can do it!

Best Wishes for a fantastic birthing experience.

I have ventured into the land that I always said I would never go!

I should know by now, never make a vow about what I will or will not do. As soon as I do that, I am tested on it...sometimes I can hold out and remain true, other times I fall flat on my face and admit that I am not the one who is in control here. The land that I find myself in now is called....STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY! and you know what? I love it! I always said that studio stuff was not for me, I wanted to keep it real and on location. None of that cheezy posed suff. But now that I am into the ever growing baby and pregnacy world, I realized that I can't always take them on location. Sometimes it's actually cold!! So here is a sample of my first studio shoot. My beautiful friend agreed to be my first subject while I tried to figure out how to position lights and props and do the "p" word. POSE! Here are the results.

Thanks Julie, I can't wait to meet your sweet little girl!
