Courtney + Jeff {engagements}

They were set up by Courtney's Aunt. The whole thing was totally planned and it has taken off from the very beginning. The perfect pair. She loves to sing and he's a great musician. She's a gentle butterfly and he works for the police department. 10 years apart, they couldn't be more in love. They were down in Florida for Micah and Lindsey's wedding so we took advantage of the great scenery. They will marry in October and I can't wait.







Ashley took these by the fence and I love them.

MAR + ET'CHANE 06.08.08

They are such a fun couple. Mar is a classic beauty. She has such a sweet feminine look and Et'chane is stylish and confident and he makes her laugh. A lot. They are getting married in September and I can't wait. We met at Grant Park in the middle of a heat wave and then went on to their favorite restaraunt, Harlem Bar.













My favorites of Ashley's

MEET DANIELLE AND STEVEN

They are getting married in July and they have one of the cutest engagement stories. The cute that makes you say "AWWWW" with that pitch in your voice. You know what I'm talkin about.

Danielle ( like most brides who are anticipating when and how their boyfriends are going to ask) thought she had it all figured out and even sent a text message to all her close friends saying "today is the day". They were going out to a nice restaraunt that ended up being closed, and that was the start of all of her plans that didn't come into exsistense. Her heart fell with each dissapointment and she called off the "text" to her friends. Steven suggested that they go and look at some puppies they were considering buying and when they arrived, (it was all planned out with her mom hiding around the corner too) the 'puppy lady' handed the brown lab-mix to Steven who in turn handed it to Danielle and said " doesn't it have a nice collar?" She was thinking to herself, 'who cares about the collar' but when she turned it around she saw a beautiful diamond ring and Steven properly popped the question in between puppy licks.

They bought the puppy and of course, she said "YES!" I didn't get to meet Leroy but I hear he is a fabulous addition to the new family.

I love this shot. Piedmont Park has a brilliant playground. I love this little boy checking them out.

Danielle is stunning. You would never guess that she was uncomfortable in front of the camera in the beginning. She is an example of how CONNECTING WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER is critical to great images. ( shameless plug but it's true )

Scottie + Andrew

I met with Scottie and Andrew at Stone Mountain to shoot their e-session and was shocked to hear that they are moving to Detroit right after the wedding! WOW!! They are a great couple and I know if anyone can adjust to a totally new life in a new location, they can. They'll be getting hitched in June and I'm realy looking forward to shooting their wedding.
Here are a few from Sunday.

We trecked on down the tracks and came upon an abandoned train car. We were almost totally busted as the tour train that runs around the park came blazing around the corner. We hit out inside like we were stow-aways. Good fun!
