aRDen & BrAdy @ HoME

Ashley and i went over to Stacey and JD's house this morning to watch the twins while they went to church. We arrived to find that they had a LONG night last night and weren't going to make it but instead wanted to get some sleep. We thought we would take advantage of the time alone with them and take tons of photos in their own environment. LOL. It was about all we could do to keep them both happy at the same time. We just kept looking at each other and shaking out heads, saying...How do they do it??

Ashley is 4 months pregnant herself and Stacey was full of great tips and advice about everything from what to get and what to do/not do. Here are few of Ashley's.

Twins

Absolutely adorable. They were born April 21, 2008. Arriving almost 2 months early by emergency C-section, Arden came first at 4 lbs 11 ounces and Brady was 5 lbs 12 ounces. It took Arden over a week to be able to come home and since then, everyone has been wonderful. Both babies and parents are doing well and I am so happy that they were able to make their first trip one that ended up in my studio. I couldn't be happier to have a new niece and nephew and so excited that after 18 years JD and Stacey get to experience the joy of parenthood. X2!

Makes me wanna have another!

This is my friend Jodi and her 2 month old hunk of love, Liberty. Words would be useless for this post, it's more like a heart thing.

THOSE CHEEKS! THOSE EYES! THOSE DIMPLES!

I am in love with this little girl. I met Emma Kate at a wedding a few months ago, well, I met her parents and they asked if I would come and do a shoot for their little darling. Oh, let me just say that I could have taken pictures of her all day. I stayed long enough for a little fun in her room, a bath, a snack, a ride in her wagon, catching some air with dad, a super quick nap with mom, ( cut way short by me...actually, the click of my camera ) a book reading and play time with a pet bunny. We ended it all by thinking outside the box and putting her in it.

CHECK OUT HER SLIDESHOW.

Mom and Dad, get a kleenex.

Well, Hello Elisha!

Oh, this baby is so cute! Andrew and Jane are the proud parents of little Elisha and thier dog is pretty happy too. Babies are very expressive and they really don't care if they look their best when you take a picture. That's what makes them such great subjects, because what you see is all of them, not just the perfect, posed parts. And who doesn't LOVE that hairdo?!
