Congratulations Melissa and Chris

When I post about weddings, I like to disclose the details that were unique...so let me just start by saying that this was a Sunday wedding that started at 5:00 am. ( I started at 6:30 ) What makes it really crazy is that I went to sleep at 2:30 that morning after finishing a wedding on Saturday. My mom suggested that I try one of those new 'energy drinks' and since I am an all or nothing type, I went for the MONSTER. Needless to say, I had a very unique feeling for the first half of the day. Thanks, Mom.

Melissa and Chris were married at The Botanical Gardens with their reception at The Biltmore.

It was a beautiful day and I was really happy to see my favorite band in the whole wide wedding world, Squat, jazzing it up when we arrived at the ballroom.

I also managed to talk Patrick Williams into shooting a double with me, and the irony of that is that he was the one to refer this wedding to me over a year and a half ago because he didn't want to work a double and it wasn't until he showed up at the gardens as my second shooter and saw Rhonda Eggert, the wedding planner, that it all fell into place and we realized that I had managed to come out WAY AHEAD on that one. Thanks for doing such a great job, Patrick.

Best Wishes to you, Melissa and Chris!

I am always excited to watch your slideshows and it amazes me how you continue to come up with new and creative ideas to show off the wedding rings! How cool to display each of them inside of the daisies! Nice job Shawna!
Love,
Jo

What a lovely slideshow. I really wanted to be there for the wedding, but have been ill for a while and am still not able to travel too far from home.

Thank you for bringing that very special day to life for me. The pictures are so unique and beautiful - like a lovely flower themselves.

Cheers,
Debs
