LAUREN & CALEB AT THE BILTMORE

This past weekend was a busy one with a wedding on Friday and another on Sunday. I had the pleasure of shooting with Amanda Phillips on both as she assisted me on Friday and I helped her on Sunday. I'm posting a few from her wedding first and Friday's wedding will follow. I was really excited to shoot at the Biltmore. The Bride and Groom used both ballrooms and Lauren could pass as a princess any day so she fit right in. Here are a few of my favorites.

The Ceremony was beautifully spoken by the pastor as well everyone else involved. Here both families came forward to pray over and bless their children as they make the transistion of leaving their mothers and fathers and cleaving to one another. The gesture was powerful and said a lot about the upbringing and parenting of both families.

I love the sweetness of this photo. Amanda was shooting the formals and the flower girl was patiently waiting for something a little more exciting to happen.

The father daughter dance had everyone bawling. The song was about the most tear jerking ballad I've ever heard from a father's perspective on his daughter's marriage. I don't know what it was but I'll find out.


This isn't the best angle for the bride and groom but I love the look on the "single guys" faces. I think the guy on the right and in the middle saw a little more than they should have as her dress was lifted up.

Tanya & Jonathan Sunday, July 20 at 10pm 9c

This Atlanta couple have spared no expense for their extravagant nuptials. Their platinum reception comes complete with a $30,000 wedding cake made to look like Cinderella's Carriage!

For her walk down the aisle, Tanya will wear $120,000 of white and canary diamonds...a gift from Jonathan. The reception will be held at the exclusive Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel, Tanya and Jonathan's guest will be treated to spectacular display of floral centerpieces with custom dyed flowers flown in from Thailand.

Parent's of the Bride

Weddings are all about the Bride and Groom. Of course. Who else should be center stage, you ask? Well it starts with the parents. This is Mr. & Mrs. Yoest, parents of tonight's bride. These are the beautiful flowers that he gave her yesterday and I don't want you to miss what the card says.
"To the life giver. Love, Dan"
At the wedding tonight, the Maid of Honor said that Danielle was a hopeless romantic. It's obvious where she gets it.

Mom's stay

She lives in Utah and I miss her very much so we flew her out for her 60th b-day on July 7, and don't worry, she doesn't mind if you know. We were all singing Happy Birthday to her here and she was singing right along.

We always make frycakes when she's here. They're these wonderful donut things with frosting that came from my great-grandmothers recipe. Zoe got her first taste of homemade maple frosting and decided it was more fun to share with Madison.

She is eating all kinds of different foods now that her adnoids are not blocking the way. She actually sleeps totally silent to which is new to all of us.

Nana taught her all kinds of new things. It was so good to have her here. I miss her not only for myself but for my daughters too. They need to see their Nana more often that 2 or 3 times a year! ( hint hint )

That's my crazy husband doing the cowabunga off the diving board in the back.

It has been raining a lot the past few weeks and we drove to Rex to see an old Mill that Steve remembered from 5 or 6 years ago. The river was bigger than normal and it was super loud.

Ok, I know it's way late, but it's too cute to pass up. This was from the 4th of July at my friend Brandi's house. But really, it's for my sister Jody, who watches my blog every day and night. Sorry I''ve been so slack, but here's a lil somthin somthin..

ALISON + BRIAN

It was one of those days that was pouring down rain but we headed out anyway. It seems like I have a camera/rain friend up there somewhere who parts the clouds just before its time to shoot. I met Alison and Brian at Hard Rock Cafe and we ventured out onto the wet streets and made our way to Centennial Park and back. We had lots of laughs, paparazzi looks and some time to get to know each other. They are a great couple, play a mean game of tennis and I can't wait for their wedding in August.

Congratulation to both of you. I had a blast hanging out together.

Gaudry Family

David + Jenice. It always starts with 2. Then there were 5. Jenice is about the nicest person you'll ever meet, always willing to help and do whatever she can, she's a mom after my own heart. Her oldest, Micah, proves it as he achieved a 4.0, perfect attendance and "most outstanding student in 6th grade". At Strong Rock Academy none the less so it wasn't easy.
Matthew is a star in his own right, not afraid of anything and willing to take any challenge. Little Savannah is last but definatly not least. She keeps them all jumping and guessing and there's never a dull moment when she's around. Oh, and David works for my father in law so it kinda makes us family. Sort-of. :)



The chase is on!
