I was driving home from a wedding in Virginia Highlands a few weeks ago and made a wrong turn and ended up at Callenwalde. My assistant told me that it was a popular place for bridal portraits and weddings. I hadn't even heard of it. ( I've only been here for a year and a half! ) Well, 3 days later I was doing an engagement sessiona and Anna and Doug called me the day of and said they wanted to change the locations to Callenwalde. She asked if I knew where it was...."oh sure", I said. I love it when things like that happen. We didn't shoot in the typical places, like I love this one in the kitchen. The fire hydrant adds to it, I think.
